Today we mowed about 600sqm on either side of the Oakbank Road railway crossing and removed a number of regrowth casurinas and banksias that were encroaching on the grassland. This area has excellent potential for encouraging a more diverse flora as it all ready has many of our indicator species including Common Everlasting, Cranberry Heath (flowering), Common Pimelea, Milkmaids, Kangaroo Grass and Spear Grass.
