This Tuesday we worked on digging out the emerging Watsonia bulbs at Oakbank crossing. Quite hard going as the ground is dry despite the rain. We will continue to dig them at the next Tuesday working bee.

We also began brushcutting the Blackberry patches that have been sprayed by NatureLinks (thanks to the funding by Landcare and VicTrack). There has generally been a very good result from the targetted spraying with most foliage dying off. The brushcutting is to remove the banks of canes so that followup cut and paint of any regrowth will be easier.
